DBR Website 2.3: eLicensing is Now Live!

Welcome back to the updated version of the Department's website! We continue to make enhancements to the look and functionality of our site that we think will make it easier for the citizens of Rhode Island to find the help and information they need.

For this round we are implementing an eLicensing system. This 24-hour service allows for the expedited processing of license transactions, including applications, changes and renewals. Key features include:

User-friendly access with a personal ID and password
Improved processing time by eliminating the need for paper forms
Improved accuracy of licensing information
Verification by licensee and the public-at-large of license status.

The first phase of DBR's eLicensing system allows online processing of commercial licenses for: Mobile and Manufactured Home Parks, Auto Body Repair Shops, Auto Glass, Auto Salvage and Rebuilders, Auto Wrecking and Salvage Yards, Auctioneers, and Real Estate Appraisers. All additional commercial licenses will be added to the system over the coming months and it will be fully functional by the spring of 2013.
